The Little Puppy We Met at Campty falls
The Little Puppy We Met at Campty falls— How Scubby Became Part of Our Cafe Family
This is the story of Scoobby.
It all started when I, my sister Taru, and my two brothers Anmol and Pranjal went to Campty falls , Dehradun.
It was just a normal outing. We were enjoying the place, spending time together and having fun.
And then we saw this tiny little dog.
He was playing with a much bigger dog.
But the funniest part was that this little puppy had the bigger dog's tail in his mouth!
He was growling, barking, jumping around and pulling the tail like he was trying to prove that he was the boss.
He was so tiny, but his attitude was HUGE.
We couldn't stop watching him.
He was just so cute that you could look at him once and immediately fall in love with him.
And obviously, that's when Taru and I got an idea.
"Isko Cafe Le Chalo!"
Because our cafe is pet-friendly, Taru and I immediately started saying,
"Isko cafe le chalte hain!"
But Anmol was not ready.
He was like, "No, we can't just take a random puppy with us."
Pranjal was both for us, and slowly the whole thing turned into a family discussion.
But Taru and I were not giving up.
We kept convincing them.
"Please le chalo."
"Bas ek baar."
"Hum sambhal lenge."
"Apna cafe pet-friendly hai!"
After a lot of convincing, Anmol finally agreed.
And that's how this little puppy came with us from Campty Fall to our cafe.
At that point, none of us knew that he was about to become such a big part of our story.
His First Day at the Cafe
When we brought him to the cafe, he met our other pets.
For the first little while, he was nervous.
Everything was new for him — the place, the people, the smells and all the other animals.
He was a little scared and didn't know what was happening.
So we gave him some time.
But slowly, he started getting comfortable.
And then we decided that he would stay with us for the night.
The Bath-Time Drama
There was just one thing we noticed.
The little guy was scratching himself quite a lot.
So we thought, okay, first things first — he needs a proper bath.
We gave him a warm-water bath and used pet shampoo to clean him up and help with the itching.
But apparently, he was not a fan of bath time.
As soon as we started bathing him, he started crying and making those little scared noises.
For a moment, we were worried.
And then his expressions were so funny that we couldn't stop laughing.
It was one of those moments where you feel bad because the little one is scared, but at the same time you can't help smiling at how dramatic he is.
After his bath, he was clean, fresh and much more comfortable.
And then came bedtime.
He Slept With Us
That night, we decided to let him sleep with us.
He spent the evening playing, exploring everything and getting more comfortable around us.
And, of course, he had already started causing trouble.
At one point, he even destroyed our socks while playing.
We couldn't even properly scold him.
He was just too cute.
Eventually, he settled down and slept on the bed with us.
I thought, finally, we were going to get some peaceful sleep.
I was very wrong.
"Who Is Jumping On Me?"
In the middle of the night, I suddenly felt something jumping on me.
I was half asleep, so I thought maybe Taru had put the puppy on me.
I moved a little and tried to sleep again.
But then I realized something.
Taru hadn't put him there.
He had climbed onto me all by himself!
This little puppy was literally jumping around on me in the middle of the night like it was playtime.
I moved him to the side and finally went back to sleep.
At that point, I think we had all started realizing that this wasn't just some puppy we had brought in for a day.
He was already becoming part of us.
The Next Morning — And The Name "Scoobby"
The next morning, we took him to meet the other pets again.
And this time, he was completely different.
He wasn't scared anymore.
He started playing with them, running around and annoying everyone like he had been there forever.
He would go near the other pets, play with them, disturb them and then run away.
Basically, he had officially started behaving like he owned the place.
And everyone at the cafe loved him.
Our workers especially became very attached to him.
Everyone wanted to play with him.
Everyone wanted to hold him.
Everyone wanted a picture with him.
People were taking photos and making videos because he was just too adorable to ignore.
And then came the most important part.
His name.
Pranjal had barely seen him before deciding that he needed a name.
He looked at the little puppy and immediately said:
"Iska naam Scoobby rakhte hain."
And just like that...
Scoobby was born.
From A Random Puppy to Everyone's Favourite
Within such a short time, Scoobby became everyone's favourite.
He had started with a random meeting at Campas Fall.
Then he came to our cafe.
Then he met our pets.
Then he got a bath.
Then he destroyed our socks.
Then he jumped on me in the middle of the night.
And by the next morning, he was running around the cafe, playing with everyone and making himself completely at home.
It was honestly funny how quickly he became a part of our everyday life.
Every person around him had a different reaction.
Some wanted to cuddle him.
Some wanted to take pictures.
Some wanted to play with him.
And some just stood there watching his little activities and laughing.
But everyone agreed on one thing:
Scoobby was too cute.
Why This Story Means So Much To Us
We didn't go to Campty Fall looking for a puppy.
We didn't plan to bring one back.
We didn't even know his name that day.
We just saw a tiny dog playing with a bigger dog, fell in love with his funny little personality and decided to give him a place with us.
And somehow, that small decision gave us a memory we will always remember.
For us, being a pet-friendly cafe isn't just about allowing pets to enter.
It's about giving them a place where they can feel safe, play, make a little mess, meet other animals and simply be themselves.
At Torque Tales, we love motorcycles, food, good conversations and the cafe atmosphere.
But sometimes, a tiny puppy can completely steal the show.
And Scoobby definitely did that.
From Campty falls to the cafe, from being a scared little puppy to running around and troubling everyone, his story became one of our favourite memories.
And honestly, we're glad we listened to that little voice saying:
"Bas, isko cafe le chalo."
Because sometimes, the best stories are the ones you never planned.
And sometimes, a random little puppy doesn't just become a pet.
He becomes family.
